Gentle Hands Home Support Limited is built around a simple idea: support should fit the person, not the other way around. We provide practical, non-medical home support that helps people stay independent, connected and involved in their own lives. 

Our support may include:

• Companionship and befriending

• Wellbeing visits and social support

• Household assistance and light domestic duties

• Light household cleaning

• Shopping, errands and prescription collection

• Meal preparation

• Administrative and life-admin support

• Transport to agreed appointments and community activities • Decluttering and organising

• Gentle Hands gardening support is person-led. We may work alongside a client, encourage them, help them organise a task, or complete agreed light tasks where they need practical assistance. The purpose is to support the person's involvement and independence — not to provide a standalone gardening, landscaping or grounds-maintenance service.

• Pet support by prior agreement

• Support to access local community activities and services

• Support with general information and practical help relating to benefits such as Attendance Allowance or PIP, without providing regulated advice.

• Medication reminders only, where agreed. We do not administer, dispense or physically handle medication as part of our support service. At Gentle Hands, the support starts with the person. The tasks, boundaries and expectations of each visit will be agreed with the client before work begins. 

Our service is deliberately different from a traditional personal-care service. Gentle Hands focuses on everyday practical support, companionship, independence and participation.
