Setting up a Lasting Power of Attorney gives you the comfort of knowing that should you need to rely upon loved ones to act for you in later life, they will have the proper legal authority to do so. LPA Now can help you through every step of the process. They offer a personal service tailored to your specific requirements at an affordable cost. You can choose to either deal with them by telephone and post, or have someone visit you at home to take you through the paperwork in person.
LPA Now firmly believe in providing a start to finish personal service. This begins with a no obligation telephone call so you can decide the way you want to proceed. They help you to state in writing how you wish your life to be managed if capacity becomes an issue. If you choose to meet their local consultant they can also act as your Certificate Provider and witness, then deal with the Office of the Public Guardian on your behalf for the registration process.

In addition, the Office of the Public Guardian charge a fee of £92 to register each LPA. Donors in receipt of certain means tested benefits or having an income of less than £12,000 per annum, will be entitled to an exemption or remission of the registration fee.
